A primal cry erupted from his throat. Grasping her with a wildness that was almost terrifying, he hauled her to her feet and dragged her toward a tall rock nearby. He pressed her to it, bent his knees, and filled her with a single swift thrust.
“Oh!” Evangeline gasped, her passion almost at its peak from pleasuring him. She wanted him to rut her again and again, to drive her toward another soul stealing climax.
“Damnation, Evangeline, your cunt is perfect,” he gasped, his hips jerking with scarcely controlled thrusts. “Wrap your legs around me, beautiful wench. Now!” He grasped her buttocks harder and lifted her higher so she could easily follow his command.
Her legs wrapped around his waist and she clung so hard to his neck she hoped she wasn’t choking him.
By the sound of his pleasured grunts and growls, she guessed he was fine. Better than fine.
His powerful muscles bunched and strained as he pressed her against the rock. She was too lost in passion to notice any discomfort, but simply clung to him. Pleasure built and built until all she could do was scream. When the explosion came it was like nothing she’d ever felt before.
Somewhere beyond her intense climax, she felt him come. His cry of fulfillment echoed through the garden. They dropped to the ground in a panting heap of tangled limbs and sweaty flesh.
“Oh my,” Evangeline panted when she could finally speak again. “I think, my handsome demon, we might get along after all.”
“So it seems.” He chuckled and nipped her ear.
Urbane stood and offered her his hand. She took it without hesitation and allowed him to tug her to her feet and lift her in his arms.
“Let’s go home, wife,” he said, his gray gaze fixed on hers. This time his smile was more content than wicked. A rather pleasant change. “Or should I say, my angel.”
“I’m not quite so certain of that anymore.” She playfully bit his lower lip. “You’re corrupting me.”
“Just a little, as you’ve corrupted me.”
“How so?”
“Well right now I’m actually looking forward to sleeping beside you on that disgustingly soft bed in that annoyingly cheerful bedroom.”
Evangeline chuckled and kissed his cheek. “It’s a start at least.”
“Evangeline?”
The apprehension in his voice took her by surprise and her smile faded as she gazed at him. “Yes, Urbane?”
“Do you suppose -- not that it matters, mind you -- that you could ever learn to… love… a demon?”
“Not just any demon,” she replied softly. “But I could learn to love you. I think part of me already does. And you?”
“What?”
She raised her eyes to the heavens. “You know what. Can a demon love?”
“I thought not, until I saw you.”
Again she smiled and rested her head against his shoulder. He squeezed her gently and continued toward home.
