Dangerous Cravings: Disdain Read online

An orgasmic rush broke over her and she bit his shoulder, surrendering entirely to vampiric lust. Even in her dreams, blood sharing with Disdain hadn’t been this wonderful. His taste, scent, and the power of his love encompassed her.

I’d almost forgotten how good it feels to bite and be bitten. I love you so much, Alana.

  I love you, too, Disdain.

Bliss overtook them and their thoughts faded. Pulsations rolled through Alana’s pussy, gripping Disdain’s stiff cock, dragging him even deeper inside her.

Lapping her blood, he groaned and growled in animal pleasure.

She clutched his back, sinking her fingers into the powerful muscles while she drank his delectable essence. Little ripples of pleasure coursed down her spine.

Their hearts pounding in unison, they shared blood and thrust against one another’s straining bodies until they collapsed in utter fulfillment.

  Epilogue

A month later, Disdain and Alana returned to Burgundy Peak where he finished the classes and, to the students’ dismay, added two additional weeks free of charge. Even Alana tried to change his mind, but Zigor thought extra lessons were a wonderful idea. It seemed there wasn’t an ancient in existence who didn’t enjoy making the lives of novices hell.

Once the lessons ended, Alana and Disdain reopened her father’s pool hall, something she’d been longing to do. Every few months, he left to teach classes in various countries, and Alana often accompanied him. Whenever they were parted, he called her faithfully each night and they did things while on the phone that made her blush when they finally hung up.

One evening over dinner with Mel at Burgundy Peak while Zigor and Disdain disappeared to practice swordplay, Alana thought how much her life had changed.

Before Disdain, she had been almost too frightened to really live. She’d never imagined being this happy again.

“How are things with Disdain?” Mel asked.

“Good. I mean, he has some difficult days, but we get through them.”

  “You look happy.”

  Alana smiled. “I am. Very.”

As if on cue, Disdain and Zigor approached the table. A love song drifted throughout the club -- the same song they’d first danced to at Fifties Night. Disdain took her hand and tugged her to her feet. On the dance floor, she melted into his arms, closing her eyes for a moment. Inhaling the marvelous scent of his hair, she enjoyed the warmth of his body close to hers.

“I love you, Alana,” he whispered in her ear.

“I love you, too, Disdain. Forever.”
